Contribute to Photoline

The Photoline Archive is made up of images supplied by people like you - those interested in viewing and preserving New Zealand's Railway History through photographs.

If you have historical images in your possession, maybe taken by you, a parent, a grandparent or other relative or maybe images from an avid photographer you have inherited or otherwise manage, and want to contribute to the archive, we welcome your additions!

We are not only a place for "perfect", professional quality images but a place where all historic imagery is welcome, you never know just how important that one-off photo from a few decades ago may be to future railway research.

To get started, Register An Account and from there you will be able to begin adding images to the archive. Most people are limited in the number of images they can add at this time, but if you have an extensive collection we can turn off the limits and let you get busy sharing images of the past as fast as you are able!
