Record Notes/Description K 92 at Dunedin at some date in the 1880s before its first extensive NZR rebuild. The locomotive is sporting engine brakes, which the NZR first added a drawing for in 1879 and has had the lever for the variable blast pipe repurposed for a second set of drains, attached to the saddle.
